Not so bad; not so good

The townhomes are very large and comfortable. My top three complaints were that the laundry room is AWFUL. It is dirty and does not feel like a sanitary place in which to hope for clean clothes.
Also, the trash and recycling are all in the same area, far from some of the apartments (at least mine, anyway). It was a hassel to quickly throw out one bag of garbage since I had to walk across the whole complex to do so. The recyclables tended to pile up until we got tired of them, then we would haul them all over in the car.
And one more thing: frequently when I went over the staff would have temporarily closed the office. Maybe I just went at bad times, but it was inconvenient that the office was randomly closed sometimes.
Oh, there was one other thing. Dogs run rampant over there. After being chased twice by a dog (and my roommate once) we went to complain and she told us a verbal complaint was not good enough, we had to submit complaints in writing for it to count. I thought it was not good business to say that nothing could be done, at all, until I wrote a letter about it.
Other than these things, I had a good experience there. There are quite a few spiders, but it is a wooded community. When the staff was in, they were helpful. I do think that our place was over priced, but what place in Chapel Hill is not.
There is good access to campus, 15-501, the grocery store, Carrboro, etc.
Overall, not a bad experience there.
