This apartment complex is right in the middle of a hotbed of criminal activity..It shares its borders with Chase Park Apartments(Crime Haven) and right across the road is another cess pool Kingswood apartments...There is a trail that runs through the back leading up to close to Franklin st...Regularly you can see shady characters walking through Laurel Ridge from these two places..before they just used to pick up whatever unlocked they could see..bicycles..motorcycles...but because the management does not want to do ANYTHING..the thieves have gotten bolder...now it is more entering apartments through open doors...breaking into cars...breaking chains and stealing mopeds and motorcycles.etc..etc...

Every now and then you will also get a knock on the door because some person needs some change for their evening beer/drugs...
