I have to totally disagree with the previous two reviews. I have lived at Laurel Ridge for about 4 years while my husband is in grad school, and we have had a good experience overall. The complex is close to school, maintenance is good, and we like our townhouse. The office people are nice, know who we are and ask how we're doing. I don't agree that they "don't care", at least they don't look at you blankly when you talk to them like most places I've lived. And at least there isn't a new person in the office every week. Also, people need to remember that crime can happen anywhere, even in the nicest fanciest place, and this is the first time I can remember it happening here. 1 or 2 occurences over 4 years isn't bad in my opinion. Overall it's definitely been one of the best places I have lived.
