We've lived here for 5 years now and actually feel sad that we're upgrading to a house..we'll miss it here! We live here with our young daughter and have found it to be just the most wonderful place. People are friendly, heading up to the office is like going to the place where "everybody knows your name"...only they're a lot more helpful and competent than anybody on Cheers!

A couple of times since we've lived here there have been break-ins. The office promptly notifies every tenant to be aware and does everything in its power to allay fears and cut down on crime.

There's such a great mix of young families and students here. It's excellent, and we love it.

Every single time we've said to ourselves "you know what would be nice'", the office is way ahead of us and we notice not long after that whatever we wanted fixed up has already been started...like overhangings for the mailboxes, or a path down the hill to the bus stop. If my daughter went to UNC and wanted to live off campus, this is exactly where I'd put her to live. It's so safe and kind...really just a wonderful place.

Honestly, the only vague complaint I have is a lack of ramps to the sidewalks...however, they do have handicapped parking and even installed a communications box by the office. Still not the most accessible place, if that's a concern, but they're getting better all the time...and they WERE built before all of those building codes went through. They meet all ADA codes...but just the minimum requirements.
