Let's put it this way... I can hear my next door neighbor snoring at night through the wall between our bedrooms. Not a roommate, or someone else in my apartment, but the person living in the next apartment over. So, I suppose it's no surprise that I can hear their stereo all the time. However, I've asked the neighbor to quite the bass on the stereo. I've asked the manager to do something. The neighbor could care less. The manager "wrote them a letter." Fat lot of good that did... Turns out, one of the office workers lives on the other side of our apartment. He had a party one evening and basted selections from Rent the musical at 2AM. This was a one time thing and hasn't happened since, so that doesn't bother me so much. It's more the fact that he has such little respect for the community he serves. Clearly complaining about the noise I experience each day is falling on deaf ears.

My wife and I are counting the days until our lease is up
