This is a 6-storey apt. Coin operated washer and dryer are in the basement. The apt is old and run down. Although fully furnished, the furnitures are old. The heater/air-con is old and noisy. The hallway smells funny. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything that goes on upstairs and next to you, including what happens in their bedroom! The bathroom is small and located within the bedroom (strange). The sink is outside the bathroom, in the bedroom (more strange).
This apt is 5mins walk away from Franklin St and 10mins walk from UNC. It's a good choice if you're new to chapel hill and don't have car. Office staff are friendly and helpful. Overall an ok place to live.
