When I first moved here, it was unexpensive and quiet. The lady that sold me my apartment was out the door before I moved in. I have gotten to know one lady, she sits right at the front desk and she is VERY helpful and even stays late on most days to make sure people can reach maintance. THESE ARE MY PROS.

After being here 3 months, I had to get a locking gas cap because Gas was suctioned from my car. I told the Manager and he acted like I was lying. A few months later, I get stopped in front of my building by the Chapel Hill Police, asking me questions about the apartment I lived in. Once I was given the "clear" to enter, I realized that 2 apartments in my building were kicked in (forcefully by the police) because 2 men were operating drugs. One Meth and one Crack. The police also knocked on my door a month later around 11:30pm asking me about my neibor.

The laundry mat feels SO unsafe. There is one way in and the same way out. The fitness center sucks. I came out here to save money, mission accomplished. But I can't even take my daughter to the playground for fear of her getting hurt by the rubbish left by these thugs out here.

Then the parking. They made us all get parking passes, but they don't enforce ppl that don't have them and park in TENANT spaces.

I have lived at pinegate as well. A swat team blew off our neighbors door and arrested him for dealing drugs. They do not re-enforce the parking at all and I was terrified of using the laundry mat. And the manager! Lord have mercy! Whenever I had a problem he would say he would take care of it and it never got done. There are all sorts of needles and crack pipes out at the playground as well. Glad im gone!

I have lived there for a year and the best way to get out of this hell hole is to tell them you feel unsafe or call corporate. The cops are there everynight, cars towed constantly and its $180 a pop to get them out. there has been so many robberies and Drug busts its ridiculous, two days ago there was a suicide by the pool and two weeks before that four Units were broken into and people were held at gunpoint and robbed. Noisy neighbors, violence, Drama, lies by property managers! If this sounds like somthing your into then go to Pinegate Circle Chapel Hill NC!!! if you this place RUN!!!
