Furnished apartment definitely not worth it

We rented a furnished 3 bedroom apartment from Temporary Living Company for 3 1/2 months at the beginning of 2003. Taking into consideration that we paid $ 2,400 per month, we had expected to at least get a fully equipped unit. But to our surprise, there was less equipment than in a suite at a hotel. One of the most disgusting things for us, was that the sets of towels we received were more than used. They were supposed to be white, but they were rather brownish, and one towel even had a pubic hair. We had to buy our own towels, since we have two toddlers and did not want to use such unhealthy items with them. The shocking thing was that at the end of the lease, we were charged $ 50 for a set of towels we did not even use! They also charged us $ 75 for carpet cleaning, which is supposed to be included in such a long term "temporary corporate lease". I would never rent from these people again. We asked them to have the owner of the unit call us to discuss this unfair issues, but she never called. It was unit 102-B Aberdeen St. It was our first experience in the US after moving from our home country, and it was not the best one we could have had.
If this is of any use for potential tenants: Do not rent this unit, for you can expect to go through what we have been through, and it is definitely not worth it. There are many other (much better) apartments available in the area. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
