Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005
We have lived here for one year, and are looking forward to moving out at the end of the month.
When we first moved in, we found the management staff generally unhelpful, but since we had no real complaints or major repair requests during the first few months of our lease, this didn't pose a problem.
Recently, we have found the management staff extremely unresponsive to a persistent mold/water problem in our apartment. Despite our many requests to have it repaired in the past month, there has been little done to actually repair the problem. Even contacting the Aimco, the company that owns this complex, seems to be useless, since their promise to follow up with the property manager hasn't seemed to prompt any actual work in our apartment - though the water leak was finally fixed, they haven't treated or removed the black mold in our kitchen since we first reported it over four weeks ago. Though the maintenance staff is courteous, the management staff is generally unfriendly and less than knowledgeable.
We would NOT recommend this apartment and would encourage those looking for housing in Chapel Hill to look elsewhere. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
