I'm not quite sure why all these people have left poor reviews. I lived at Sunstone Apts for a year and a half before having to move out because I was moving to a different area.

While it is true that the apartments are older, I believe that the community has been well kept up. When I moved in the apt was clean and had new carpeting.

Maintenance has always promptly responded to our requests, even coming in quickly ON A WEEKEND! They have always been very friendly.

My only complaint was when we first moved in the AC did not work. However, they had fixed it within the first three days. I would suggest that you take the time to make sure everything works as soon as you move in. Only other problem was that sometimes bugs can in, however, as long as you keep the apt clean (and not leave garbage bags on the deck like we did) there will not be a problem.

Sometimes the managment can be rude, not Jose though, he's wonderful. But overall they tend to be pretty straightforward and willing to work with their tenants.

I would not reccomend this place to someone who is interested in a big party scene as the community is quiet, though many students live there as well.

Overall, I found it to be a wonderful place to live and was terribly sad to have to leave the community.
