Quiet and Convenient

This was my favorite complex in Chapel Hill. We lived in a third-floor end unit near the bus stops and the public library. I saved gas because we were easy walking distance to three grocery stores, two banks, doctors, the community center, trails, and the mall. Biking to UNC was also manageable from there. My favorite feature was that the walls are so thick that I never heard noise from neighbors on either side, and the noise level between rooms in the apartment was muffled, too. The complex didn't offer much in the way of amenities in 2008 -- no fitness center, small pool, no car wash, etc. The apartments are also older (from the '80s) and relatively high-priced without a rent special. Still, I thought the convenience, the large floor plans, and the peaceful setting were worth it. We always felt safe there, too; I never saw any break-ins.

Haha. Anyone who lives or lived here could tell you this was written by the office staff at this hellhole. They (one person in particular) are evil, manipulative people. The convenience is nice, but the office staff make it not even close to worth it.

The management staff changed completely while I lived at Sunstone, and I remember that other residents had serious complaints. I moved out before I needed to interact much with the new managers.
