I've lived at the Timberlyne Apartments for two years now and I continue to enjoy living here. It's nothing spectacular and the sound insulation within each unit could be better, but the cost for what you get is excellent. Yes, there are some interesting folks, but there are also families and students in the complex. Unlike previous reviewers, I don't feel that safety is an issue. In fact, if you check the Chapel Hill crime report, Timberlyne is better than many (if not most) of the other apartment complexes in the area. There is plenty of parking for residents and their guests. This place has excellent maintenance and the office staff is very friendly.
