I lived here for two years. Both summers my apartment and the surrounding apartments were hit with a massive case of ants. The management tried to tell us it was only our apartment. After talking to neighbors and maintenance staff, I found that most every apartment was suffering situations like ours. After we got hit the second summer management finally sent out pest control. A day after they "sprayed" we got hit with the worst case of ants I have ever seen!
Another incident occurred the week after our apartment had sent out a notice saying they were checking all apartment pipes for leaks. A week after they supposedly checked our pipes, we had a leak that started behind the walls, eventually spreading to the carpet. When maintenance finally came, they admitted that they never made it to our building the week before. After they cleaned up, we started noticing mold growing all over the wall where the leak occurred. I came home one day to discover maintenance simply painting over the mold in an effort to hide it. I was outraged and called management explaining that mold was inside the walls as well since this is where the leak occurred. It took them 3 weeks to fix the problem!
We faced many maintenance issues while living here, and couldn't wait to move. I cleaned extensively before the move. A month later we received a letter from the apartment stating that not only were they withholding our deposit, but also that the $125.00 deposit was not enough to cover small nail holes, carpet steaming, and other cleaning. There were no damages listed, just loads of charges for cleaning. The management said we were held responsible for paying the staff's hourly salary for the time it took them to clean! I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint to King Properties. I know this will probably get me nowhere, but I want to show I made every effort in case I take them to small claims court!

Yes. It is perfect evaluation for Walden At Green Field Apartment. If you like mold, ants, crackers, and abusive management then here is a place for you!!! It is the placer student for living. I never lived like this kind of apartment. I have been living here for two years by contract. and I lived here for another three month. But they charged me $940.00 per month while the normal rent was $730.00 per month. They so called that was a market price. who believe it? There were so many ants come in room from kitchen shelf, toilet, windows, doors, closet, etc every where, and so many crackers. We used a lot of money to buy insecticides for removing ants, crackers. They really have an abusive woman manager, she will face you as enemy. When I move out she charged me for changed glider $35.00 and charged me $50.00 for carpet cleaning and $65.00 for breached carpet only 10 inch spot. end of today, and the story to be continue next time. We used to live 1.5 year in this apartmentas a nice family...This is 5.apartment in NC.We used to live in Franklin woods apt,their management and others was excellent. We think,..This manager does not eligible for this job..she is the worst manager ever seen before. Begening of May,june,july.. ,if yo live in this apartment everywhere ant!!!!in you kitchen..in your foods...in your bath rook,bad room,.. you have to share your apartment with roach!!!ant!! and small mice.you have to learn it.... Everywhere very dirty carpet.... even rest room and bathroom covers with dirty horrable carpet.. If your air condation is broken,they looks like repair)))) never spend money )) swimmind pool always dirty...you have to clean by your self ,I wouldn't recoment swim child..in .this pool They get your deposit immediately ,if you get back i/3 part in 2 month you are very very lucky........... I cleaned excellent give them back like other 2 nice family(they used to live there,they have same experience..) we did not refund all,... 1/3 part I can get unfair amount..like others..., I NEVER EVER Recomend this apartment ,mamager especially does not do her job...properly.. Safety,they have construction,one night somebody tried open our door,I told manager,she told us they are repairman it can hapen even at night!!! It is not safe place 2008 April they crushed my cars window took valuble GPS Sun Glasses it cost more them 1000$ in same parling place the other car had same robbery too...I have police report. NECER EVER RENT THIS APARTMENT,SORRY..
