MY fiance and I were looking for apartments in Chapel Hill and Durham this past week and we decided to head to this one because it was affordable and had a decent amount of square footage. I looked up information on this place online and in the apartment guide book before I went. They advertised having two different sized one-bedroom units. We arrive at the place and it looked awful. The construction looked shotty and it didn't look like it had been painted in about 10 years cause it was peeling everywhere. We went inside anyway and asked about the one-bedroom and the lady told me that the largest one-bedroom they had was 670 square feet. On the internet it had said 752 square feet and not only that but the board that you saw when you walked in said the same thing. So I asked her why she told me that and she said that the square footage I saw on the board wasn't correct and was a lie (false advertising to entice people to come in and look at these piece of crap apartments no doubt). So I was really pissed off about this and I asked her a few more questions about the apartments none of which she could answer. I asked her for an information sheet and floorplan she said she didn't have one. It didn't even seem like she worked there, they may as well have just picked her off the street and sat her in that office. Anyway this woman and her stupidity turned me off to this place and we left. First impressions do count and this place certainly didn't have a good one.
