the apartments are beautiful but there are land mines of dog crap everywhere. they allow larger dogs and dont seem to enforce pet owners to pick up after themselves so i dont know why they have the dog poo stations. i have seen some aggressive type dogs around. its hard to turn left out into rush hour traffic. i am not going to renew my lease when its up. for the price i pay, i can buy a home and not have to dodge dog crap!!!

I am a resident at Abbington Place and it is very unfortunate that we have such a misrepresentation of such a beautiful property by such a negative person. First of all, there is not, nor has there ever been, a ???land mine of dog crap everywhere.??? You are just upset because you are probably one of those habitual complaining residents who has nothing better to do with their time but complain about every little thing. Secondly, it is possible to step in dog crap ANYWHERE you go. Do you walk in a public park, a store parking lot, or anywhere else outside barefoot? I would hope you were intelligent enough not to do so. If you really want something to complain about, why don???t you try living in a third world country where there are dead carcasses of animals and humans lying around everywhere and starving people begging for a bowl of rice! It is not the apartment staff???s responsibility to pick up after every dog that walks outside???it is the PET OWNER???S RESPONSIBILITY! Furthermore, Abbington Place apartments provide a dog scooper service that is NO CHARGE TO THE RESIDENTS. Most other apartment communities would not provide that free of charge. In addition to the dog-scooper service, Abbington Place apartments provide plenty of pooper-scooper stations around the property. I have lived at this property for nearly three years and I have yet to see ???land mines of dog crap??? anywhere and I walk the property every morning and evening. As for it being hard to make a left hand turn out of the property, blame that on the city of Charlotte and the NCDOT for not providing a stop light at the intersection. That is not Abbington???s fault. In fact, Abbington Place has pitched in thousands of dollards to get a stop light put up at our intersection. If it bothers you so much, do what all the rest of us do and make a right-hand turn out of the property and make a U turn. You have to make U-turns on many roads in Charlotte. If that does not make you feel better, go ahead and do not renew your lease. I am sure the office staff can re-rent your apartment with no problem. I know every time I walk in the office, they are all usually busy with a new prospect. Abbington Place apartments is a great place to live and offers more than any other apartment community in Charlotte. It is unfortunate the staff has to put up with a complaining resident like yourself!

Oh, and here's some food for thought: when and if you can afford to buy your home, your neighbors with dogs (of any breed...homeowners can have whatever type of dog they please) can always walk their dog right on to your lawn. And then who would have to clean it up? You. Unless you want to pay for a dog-scooping service like Abbington Place does... I don't understand why anyone would take the time to write a review about dog poop. Please, get a life.

Hi all i have a son that lives her with his wife and I am here visiting and i love it already, my son has a big dog and we pick up behind him, if i was able to afford this place i would move here in a heartbeat.
