Moving in, I thought the apartments were absolutely beautiful! What I learned...don't judge a book by it's cover! It's noisy at all hours! My husband's truck was broken into and all I got from the leasing staff was a "boo hoo". My family was having a house built and we gave Addison Park SEVERAL months notice before we moved. They said it was fine, had us surrender ALL keys and access to our aparment, garage, gym, and then did a walk through with my husband. The manager told my husband "I've never seen a tenant leave a place so clean" she even joked that it looked "rentable" at that moment! Immediately after moving we found out an employee was using our garage for herself since the apartment was vacant, but it was no longer our problem. Until 4 months later when I was contacted by a collection agency to "settle my debt" with Addison Park! I contacted the office and was brushed off. I contacted the owners, Donathon Properties, and was brushed off. I finally paid it to prevent it from appearing on my credit report and figured I could fight it later. Now, 2 yrs later it IS still on my credit report, even though the debt was settled, and the office will not return my calls and has hung up on me repeatedly! I was a good resident who always paid on time. No noise complaints from us and yet here we are! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
