I have lived there 2-1/2 years. Thought about moving first night since there had been a rash of car break-ins. The car break-ins are continual. In the winter the heating is terrible. Expensive and inefficient. I have heard other tenants complain about the same thing. Management staff rude and not helpful. The soundproofing is horrible. Go to sleep hearing the next door neighbor's TV; loud sounds when anyone goes up and down the outside stairs; and upstairs neighbors keep me awake all night because they are up during the night and even though I have talked to them and they try to walk quitely it is still very loud. Currently, another new company has bought the apartments. They are kicking everyone out as their leases comes up for renewal so they can rennovate the apartments. The people that are currently still there have had to put up with heavy construction as they are running new pipes through all the buildings. This has been a 2 week process of apartments being completely torn-up, dust and paint every where and there is nothing the tenants can do as they will be removed from the property as soon as their lease comes up anyway. I have never experienced nor heard of an apartment complex being so negligent and uncaring to their tenants. This is my first time writing a review of any kind but I feel so strongly about Alexander Place that I am advising everyone I can think of to not even consider this as a place to live.
