I ve always been the one writing with concerns and issues, so I just wanted to make sure to give props when due.
Being a resident for the past 4 years of Alexander Place Apartments, I ve seen 3 management companies take over the complex and lots of changes, some for the good and some for the worse.
The Lane Company took on the apartments last year and made the biggest changes with the renovations that required people to move. I must say the replacement plumbing wasn t any fun to endure either. I have been without neighbors in my building for almost a year, and even though I can say it was nice having the privacy, I also am glad to see new people moving in and all of Lane s hard work paying off.
I write to say that I ve been particularly impressed with the exterior work being done lately. Our area of the complex seemed to have been going down hill for a year or so. We hadn t had pine straw for two years and because of several plumbing issues many areas of grass were eroding. So thank you for all the things you are doing such as pinestraw, new concrete, new railing around the walkways and steps as well as the balconies, touch up paint, pressure washing of the wood floorings, removal of the golf cage, painting of the tennis courts, and particularly the removal of old cars. I do feel like the quality of life has improved since Yvonne and Lane Company have taken over. The new people coming in may not be able to appreciate what all has been done, but I do, so I wanted to make sure to tell you that.
