I used to own one of the townhouses there. (BTW: they are NOT apartments)

I would highly suggest that you DO NOT move there. My "rent price" is actually what my mortgage payments were on the home...rent is generally 50% higher than mortgages.

Recent NEWS: A homeless tent camp was found in the woods surrounding the homes, there was a murder across the street from our former house. BEWARE!!

If you have children, don't move there!

Problems with these townhouses:

1) black mold problem
2) wiring is substandard
3) heatpumps are old
4) rear decks are NOT maintained by the home owners association (HOA), most do not meet current building codes for stability!!
5) parking spaces are barely marked
6) illegal parking is hardly enforced
7) trash accumulates near the single dumpster and the residents are too stupid or lazy to put trash INSIDE the dumpster
8) loud parties
9) no security
10) only one entrance onto Mary Alexander Drive...long delays leaving at class end times
11) large ratio of renters to resident owners (bad bad bad...)

I think he was being nice...perhaps even TOO nice...one review said Ghetto...they are right...and it is getting worse daily! Murders, muggings, robberies, fights, drunks, trash, etc etc etc...

First of all I take offense to these comments , I have lived ( rented now own) in my townhome for 4 years and have not had one problem. First of all the murder was a domestic issue and can happen anywhere. Secondly , Trash dumpster has been changed to better suit those indivduals who can not seem to toss their trash over a taller unit. Thirdly, If people would pay there dues maybe we can beautify the neightborhood, the pavement will get seal coating and freshly painted lines and numbers soon. Next, if you don't like the patio fix it, it is up to the homeowner not HOA. This neighborhood is beautiful and tenants are the problem not the HOA or the location, keep the neighborhood clean and there will not be an issue. People always want to complaint ,but never do anything , join the HOA. This townhomes are older and they do not make them like they use to , they are spacious conviently located. With anything that ages they need upkeep. I for one love the area and neighborhood and when I move on will rent out.
