I was a tenant for four years at this complex. Although the office staff has a lot of turnover, I got along well with them. Then camn up for my lease to end. I was house shopping and had an offer on a home, but not the acceptance. I asked the "new" manager in plentiful time, if there was anyway they could work with me on the month to month charge considering I have been such a great tenant, never late on rent, no complaints, etc. He said the fees are automatically system generated and what he does for one he has to do for the other. First of all, that should tell you how the management is ran here. Maintenance is horrible. They never actually 'fix' the problem but yet try to take your security deposit for a dirty oven.

This is the same problem that I am facing. I agree that since the change in management the complex has gone down. They have kicked in my neighbors door. The apartment to my right has been locked by the Sheriff. The playground has been torn down and you no longer have access to enter/exit in the rear. I have lived here since 2006 and also in the process of purchasing a home. Management has told me that what he does for one he has to do for another. I have requested the information for ther Corporate offices and was told they would take my number and someone would call me back. This was Wednesday and so far no call. I would never recommend this complex.

To add to my complaint as well as yours. Apparently living in an apartment or just Alta Grove gives you no benefits of renting....for the simple fact you have to replace everything you use. Such as drip pans on the stove, filter for the oven fan, etc. Which should be considered wear and tear living in an apt after four years. So much for maintenance. I am so glad to be out of that complex. And I hope they have nothing but the worse tenants that never pay on time, don't take care of the facility, apt because the "good" ones are treated the same as mgmt would say "what I do for one, I have to for the others." Good Luck with your house shopping. I pray that you get away from there.
