I have lived at the complex since 2005. Although the complex is about 30 miles from my job, I originally chose the complex because of its friendly staff and quite neighborhood. When I came in as a prospective tenant, the staff and I talked for at least and 1 1/2. I knew at that time that this was a place I could call home. I have never paid late and have had no problems or complaints. The Management Staff has since changed several times and the property has become a disaster. The Maintenance staff seem inexperience and do not speak. The landscaping is terrible they have torn down the playground and now the kids play in the street or in front of the rental office. As I have spoken to neighbors that I have met since living here, they have the same issues. Some have already moved and I am planning also. However, if you are interested in purchasing a home, Alta Grove is not going to assist you. What I was told,when I advised them in a considerably amount of time what my intentions were, that it is there policy and what they do for one they have to do for another. I offered to sign a three months lease and was told they would do that but it would be the same price as month to month. I went out of town for the 4th of July, I wrote the check out and dropped it off before I left. Two weeks later I received a notice that they were going to file an eviction. Long story short, I wrote the check out for $4.00 less than what the total should have been for rent and water. Granted it was not the correct amount, but I turned the check in on the 1st, it was cashed and cleared my bank. No one called nor did I receive a notice. I thought this was just ridiculous
