Getting worse everyday

I moved here in February 2002. When I first moved here, it was really nice. I rarely had complaints about noise, the grounds were well-kept, maintenance issues were completed in a timely fashion, and the office staff was friendly and helpful. Over time, however, management changed and things started to go downhill from there. Archstone really did try to turn things around, but I guess it just got out of hand. During the mini-recession, rent dropped drastically and unfortunately, attracted not-so-attractive residents. Call me racist if you want, but there are too many non-English speaking people in the complex. It makes it difficult to be neighbors when there is a language barrier. Right now, the people above me make noise 24-7, but I can't even ask them to keep it down b/c they don't speak English! Also, parking sucks. Its okay if you come in by 9pm, but after that, it seems like everyone has company and they even park in the covered parking spaces!! Its just ridiculous. I'll be moving soon to Uptown. I found a really nice place in the center of Charlotte that is much nicer and cheaper than Andover Woods!
