I'm not quite certain how to fill this out. I lived in this complex for two years, and had a vastly different experience each year. The first year I was in a single, and the office staff and maintenance were absolutely amazing. I did not have one single problem. They were friendly, efficient, responsive, and great to deal with. I enjoyed it so much that when I found a roommate I decided to stay in the same place and switch to a two bedroom unit.

And that's when the 180 happened. The new unit had fleas when we moved in. The flea problem continued for almost two months. During that time, we were placed in the model unit, then the guest suite, then ushered out of the guest suite with an hour's warning because a guest was coming. They did replace the carpet and flea bomb a few times during all of this.
Then the unit above us had a plumbing leak. Eventually, the wall was repaired, but mold was a continuing problem after that.

Between the fleas, flood, and mold, I cannot recommend this complex to anyone. Especially after the way the new office staff handled the problems. The maintenance guys are great (same guys both years), but the ladies in the office seemed to get fairly impatient with all the problems we were having which didn't make the situations any easier to deal with.

"They did replace the carpet and flea bomb a few times during all of this."

If they replaced your carpet and flea bombed the apartment. There is not much more you can do to remove fleas. If you have fleas after this is done then you are not addressing the problems with your pets bringing fleas into the apartment. As far as leaks go leaks happen at any complex the important thing is that it was fixed.
