I moved in Nov 2006, and wish I had found out about the shooting prior to moving in here. It is really disturbing. I have also had maintainence issues as well as rude staff. The apartment was not clean when I moved in, despite them telling me that it would be cleaned. I have actually cleaned the carpets myself, and they are now cleaner than when I moved into the place. The roof leaked and I'm still waiting for the wall to be fixed. I also have issues with the bugs, parking, and loud neighbors. When I asked if they could atleaset assign 1 space per unit, I was told that the management company wouldn't allow it.

Don't forget the two girls that were robbed and kidnapped outside of their apartment in October of 06.

Yes thats why it is important to fill out a move in check list. Otherwise you are responsible for all damages as you would be at any other apartment complex.

When we moved in June of 05 our apartment was disgusting, too. Half inch of dust on the fans, mold growing in the toilets..totally gross. It just got worse. It's really a shame that they are so terrible there. Doesn't seem that things have improved much. I guess I'm not so shocked. At least you didn't have fleas for four months, or mold on the walls, in the bathroom, or in the closets from the watermain break for several months..or waited the extra month for someone to come in and paint the wall they had to open up.

I seriously doubt you people had all the issues you claim you did. I've lived here for a number of years and I can tell you personally that the staff here is not that bad, it's much better than other places close by, and if you had that many problems in your apartment why did you move in? You do have the option NOT TOO in your lease if those problems really did occur. Are you the person with the two dogs who lets them out to crap all over the front of the yards while not on a leash? Maybe thats why you have fleas and bugs!
