Flooded and moldy From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/5/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   Last night, a water pipe burst in the apartment above us, leaving their apartment 4 inches under water, and causing water to leak into our apartment, completely ruining carpet, ceilings, coming out of electrical outlets, and even coming out of the smoke detector. Since this apartment complex is not known for its customer service, we were given an industrial fan and told to rip up carpet ourselves and place the fan in various locations throughout the night. Needless to say, all furniture and everything from the closet and bathroom in the master suite had to be moved out, and now there is mold growing all over that room and bathroom. To make it even better, we haven't seen or heard from management or maintenance in 20 hours, and the leaking is spreading to the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Words to the wise: NEVER, EVER, EVER RENT FROM HERE...RENTER BEWARE!
