Aside from the disgusting apartment buildings themselves which are inanimate and can only be maintained by someone who maintains them, every other issue derives from the office. There are a couple of people who work in the office, not all of them even though there seems to be an aura of unwelcoming by the staff as a whole, that have really hurt my feelings by projecting just awful attitudes towards me. Given that I am 7 months pregnant I will admit I am a little hormonal, however, the changing staff seems to hand down those attitudes to the new staff members as well. Which makes me think that the problem with "the office" stems from a domino effect by whoever is in charge of the office..anyway-bad attitudes are everywhere in life, not just Ashford Green. That's not the whole package though. You won't find yourself chuckling over some of the sketchy stunts they'll try and pull. Just today I walked down to do some laundry at the center and found a note on the door claiming that they had repaired the entire laundry and fitness center and changed the locks and that a new key was to be purchased for $10.00. Well, I had 10.00 but they were only accepting money orders....('). First of all the center was not repaired, it looked just as dirty and run down and smelly as it did before-NOTHING had changed. Second, I, a resident had to pay 10.00 on top of the fees to even do the laundry there. Not having a washer and dryer in my possession is hard enough. I was running back and forth up and down 4 flights of stairs (I live on the third floor) to the grocery store to get a money order and then back to the center to wash, and then back again to dry. A money order' Picky pollies. Also, I can never get out of the complex; too much traffic. And everyone that lives here goes to the university so if you're a college student and you have low standards and want to party all the time and wake up your neighbors, then move in. Maybe if it gets bad enough I'll get the gumption to just up and leave. I suppose I wouldn't be the first I always see people moving out with their moving trucks and good riddances-wish I had packed up and thrown myself in the back. And I haven't even been here a year yet! Can't wait to experience more. Especially with my best friends down at the office :)

You are really exaggerating. The Apartments themselves are great. Getting a one time money order shouldnt be a major issue. The noise is minimal to none.
I had to move because I couldnt afford Ashford Green anymore.
Tell you what, lets trade. You can live in the palace I now inhabit in East Charlotte and i'll take your place since you think its so bad.
People like you make Apartment Ratings pointless.
