At Ashley Place we strive to meet the needs of each resident. We've added several upgrades such as new carpet/vinyl, ceiling fans, patio/balcony restorations & additional landscaping. We encourage and are more than happy to speak w/ any resident concerning any dissatisfactions they may have. Our Residents Are Our Priority! We have addressed complaints concerning crime by better educating ourselves and by working with the Mecklenburg County Police Dept, though compared to the increase of crime throughout Charlotte, we've received information from the the police dept showing that Ashley Place's crime rate has decreased by 15%. Again we are more than happy to speak w/ anyone about their concerns in our community and happily welcome any suggestions.

It sounds like crime is not the only problem. If your staff is unfriendly then no one will want to come and complain. You can't expect your residents to come to you if they feel you are unfriendly or unconcerned.

...furthermore, instead of writing your own review to boost your ratings, try putting out the word to ALL of your residents to visit this site and rate their RESIDENT EXPERIENCE with your complex. Someone on trial doesn't get to vote on their own verdict. ASS!

THIS PLACE SOUNDS VERY BAD. I HAVE CHILDREN WHO LIVE HERE AND THE AREA NEEDS TO BE BETTER THEN IT IS. MY FIANCE WAS ALMOST RAPED HERE.

I live near these apartments, and I can honestly say that they're a part of what's bringing this area down. I'm scared to walk past them alone, and that's during the day. I wouldn't go near the place at night. I can't even begin to imagine how the residents must feel.
