Atkins Circle

Let me tell you the things I do not like. NO parking. In Atkins Circle Policy and Procedures it states there is a maximum of 2 parking spaces per apartment. We are to have a parking permit (which we do not have). No more then 2 parking permits per apartment (only 1 if there is only one person on the lease).... Not being followed. I know there are some units with 4 vehicles.

Quiet Enjoyment: stereo and tv.....I am not even going to go there. I have gone to management several times. I guess next step CMPD.

The only other thing that bothers me is I know I have asked things be fixed in my apartment. There has never been a notice that stated maintenance had entered my apartment. Every apartment I have lived in always left some type of paperwork that listed the work that was done in the apartment and whether it was completed or still pending. I have had a problem since November that has yet to be resolved. You would think management would be trying to make things better. Hmm. I guess when renewal time comes around they will remember this problem and make up for it then. Well, I will give them 2 weeks, then I will contact the City of Charlotte to help them out.

Everyone that works for Atkins Circle seems to be nice. But I believe that is that a front. Besides the above problems I like my apartment. However, there are nicer apartments in the Ballantyne area that are less expensive. May look nice but would not recommend. The really need to do some work to keep the people they have (and make sure they are happy) and get new happy residents.

Good things...great location. I guess that is all I have to say about that.

03/15 I am now adding another complaint to my list. I came home from work to find a key in my door and my door unlocked. I thought maintenance was in working on the above problem that I have had for over 4 months. NO ONE WAS IN MY APARTMENT! I called the leasing office so mad (and they could tell I was very upset). I was told maintenance had to leave to go to another apartment for another emergency. I told them I didn't care if they walked out of my aparment for 2 minutes they are never to leave my apartment unlocked especially with the key in the door! How is that for being responsible?
