Moved in to Atkins Circle last summer and fortunately scored a terrific deal on our apartment since they had just began leasing. In some ways this helps justify some of the issues we have faced but overall we had not expected so many problems. Here is what we have dealt with:

1) We did our initial tenant walk-through the day of move in, but have yet to have any of the problems fixed...some 11 months later!
2) In the stairwell to the upper-level apartments outside, the rail is barely hanging on. Oh, and the lights in the common area between my neighbors' apartments and ours always blow out. Right now not a single one of the (4) is working!
3) YES, read the fine print on the lease! WARNING: Don't be even a day late past the 5th of the month or else you will pay well over $300 in late fees.
4) NO storage for our 2-level townhome! I had to take Christmas and other stored items to my parent's house. Like a fellow reviewer...the kitchen is beautiful but not a single drawer holds a normal-sized utensil divider. Only (1) cabinet will even let a normal-sized dinner plate fit through the doorway.
5) For a brand new community, it is sad to see so many rushed construction jobs that would have been so simple to correct the first time. "All it took was one screw to make the other end of the light fixture to stay on the wall!"
6) Water is HORRIBLE! We only cook with the water when it is boiled and we also use it when we wash dishes, but that is it! We don't even use the ice cubes.
7) When it rains, like a lot, look at the lovely creek that morphs into the Nile. Look at how close it gets to us now, and just think, soon there will be another building built right on the creek's banks! FYI: This community is in a floodplain and requires flood insurance...despite what the management office will tell you!

There are several great things too, but does the super cool fitness center matter when you can't drink the water'
