When I began my search for apartments in the Ballantyne area the Atkin's Circle complex caught my eye. My friend who would soon be my roommate lived in another apartment last year that is owned by the same peole, so I thought we had good reason to believe these apartments would be a good place to live as well. We've had nothing but problems from the day we moved in.

While touring the complex and being possible tenants the staff treats you very nice, but once you've signed a lease you're almost forgotten about and calling the office with any issues is put on the back burner of their agenda list. My roommate and I are the first tenants of the unit we're in, but with all of the problems it has had so far you would think it was one of the oldest ones they had. Since the day we moved in two months ago the thermostat has not worked even with the maintenance people that have been out there repeatedly. The refridgerator that we were supplied with had a leak that created a mini-flood in our kitchen and to replace it they gave us a very lovely used fridge with scratches on it.

And let's not even begin on how seriously you're taken when you call to have them get rid of stinky garbage outside a neighbors' door in a common stairway that is left there for days at a time. I am not paying the money I'm paying to live in a dump. So does this sound like a place you want to live'

funny, but so not true! I love it here, and the amenities are awesome. I have an urban style apartment up front in the brick buildings and I love it. The staff is nice and I saw Lamont, the maintanence guy taking a pregnant womans trash out the other day. Everytime I go to the office to get a package its nothing but smiles, so I think their is another side to your story. I usually don't post on things like this, but I love my community, I've been here three years.
