I lived at this apartment complex for a year and would have better off lived somewhere else. One of the biggest problems I had was the rude and inconsiderate staff. They don't care who you are or how much of a loyal tenant you have been, they have no compassion for any problems you have with your apartment. I had spoken with a lady who had previously lived here and she said the maintenance people would show up and come into your apartment whether you were there or not, also they had stolen prescription medication from her elderly mother. I also had similar issues with theft in my own apartment and the manager was very rude to me about it, not even considering the fact that there were items stolen. What I don't get is how do they expect to keep tenants if they are so damn mean? What ever happened to compassion? I don't care how nice the apartment or the grounds are, the staff can run people off just as easily, me being a clear case of that, they made me want to move out immediately. Just BEWARE of anyone coming into your apartment, it's your word against there's if stuff ends up missing...and you will never win, I promise you that! They also need to realize that in this kind of economy that everyone needs a little compassion and they have NONE!

I agree whole-heartedly! I didn't get anything stollen out of my apartment, but the extremely rude staff was most of the reason that I left. Myself and one of my friends roomed together in a brand new one bedroom, and things kept going wrong with the place. It wouldn't have been such a huge issue to me had I been able to call and just get the thing fixed- that shouldn't even have gone wrong in the first place! Instead I was ALWAYS met with rudness on the other end of the phone when I would call. And you might be thinking "she was probably too picky about things", but I don't think that a working thermostat or a fridge that doesn't flood the kitchen is too much to ask- especially when you pay to live in a 'nicer' apartment complex!

it's amazing that the parent company...village green...can allow this type of behavior and leave major decisions to incapable peeps. it's funny to me now but i am very glad to tell everyone i know about my experience...i'll even give you the exact apartment # if you are about to sign a lease. nobody should be blindsided by the same thing i was...please let me know if you are going to be signing a lease soon and i will tell you which apartments by unit # not to rent. :) thanks!
