These building were poorly made and you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the apartments around you. Expect things to break. Staff is nice but not a reason to move here. Safe area, except there have been car break-ins, which will happen anywhere in charlotte. If you have no other choice, get a 3rd floor apartment to reduce the noise above you.

even if you live on the top you still hear noise of neighbors below you :/
