I lived in Autumn Park for 6 months while I was transitioning from one house to another. Well, I know it's been a while since I've lived in an apartment (9 years), but I think these are not what they appear to be (or as them sell them).
I just moved out and had a 3 bedroom on the bottom floor. If I hadn't seen that the people above me had a little girl, I'd swear a 300lb giant lived above me. The noise was BAD. I can't blame the little girl. She's a kid and did what kids do. Jump, run, bounce balls, etc. I just didn't need to know everytime she decided to do it.
During that 6 months, there was a couple pf shootings. Several break-ins and a lot of problems. Wasn't what I expected based on it's location. There were several groups of early teen kids that roamed around being teenagers. You would think that someone's parents would say soemthing to them. Cause it's not jsut roaming around. It's screaming like idiots, fighting with each other, and not caring about anyone else around them. Most of that, I can deal with.
As far as the apartment goes, mine was pretty crappy. The "new" linoleum was laid directly over the old and was coming up all around the edges. The walls had big patches and weren't sanded smooth. My vertical blinds were hard to open and eventually became impossible to open. The toilets would NEVER flush right. Mine looked like the previous tenants destroyed the place and they quickly patched it together and said "Here is your apt with all new flooring". My move-in problem list was so long I got tired of writing and they never came to fix any of it. Ove of my garage door openers wasn't working and they didn't really seem to care whether it got fixed or not. When I finally went to the office, they said "try this one and see if it works". What the heck!
On the plus side, the grounds seems to be well kept.
Overall, if I had it to do over again, I would've lived somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends.
