I have been here for 7 months. I love it. It is beautiful here. The office staff is wonderful. I can't see why people like to complain, yes I can...people are generally not happy unless they are complaining about something. There are a lot of families here. It is nice to see normal mother/father/children families and that is what you have a lot of here. This is not a college village. You have more professionals than anything living here. They spend lots of money landscaping so you will have something beautiful to look at out your windows and on your walks. However, people need to take responsibility and clean up their dog's ---- as well as litter they drop. The staff here are NOT your maids. If you live by either pool you will hear people playing. If you can't deal with noise of joy then you need to move to Pluto. Parking is good. The units are very well insolated that you don't have to have your heater on all winter. just knock the chill of and you are good to go. If any of the office staff is reading this I do suggest that the laundry rooms become more presentable and that you really start enforcing the fine for trash left outside your door. I live between 2 apts that do this and it is ANNOYING!!! Please randomly start checking the second and third floors to stop this problem. It is not fair to have to walk out to something so often that would change if the rule was enforced. Each apartment is set up for you to add a ceiling fan. If you are lucky yours will already have one in. Mine didn't which sucked. I prefer open windows and a ceiling fan to central ac. I can say I am definitely not a fan of having cats or dogs in apartments, but that is the culture in this part of the country. In my opinion, indoor pets should be caged animals. I am not to fond of thinking some cat may have used my counter top as his resting place.

Well, when I moved in last month, I really liked the people, actually Alvena, who is really sweet. And I liked they were very prompt and I could actually move in that very day. The apartment is nice, quiet, clean. I really like it here and the price seemed to be convenient, as it was running on specials..but pay attention here: this is the part when I was REALLY, I mean REALLY disappointed...Being for the first time in US, having to go to work every day and solve besides this lots and lots of problems(u can imagine: SSN, trainings, car, broken car, driving license and so on...) I simply lost track of time and forgot to pay the rent on the 5th. I received a note telling that I was not going to be receive the 170 concession anymore and I also had to pay 38,50$ - late fee. So altogether I lost 210 $, just because I paid the rent on Monday and not on Friday. I did have my share of guilt, and I do feel like I had to pay the 38,50 late fee, but it seems too much to pay also the 170 $-lost concession....I felt like their policy is the "got ya" one...I mean, instead of sending the reminders on Thursday, on the 4th,(which could be a top sugestion, if they would really care for the residents!!!-they could even charge for this and it would still be better than paying 200 $ more), they can instead send "got ya" notes, telling you how much you do have to pay because you simply were too busy and lost track of time and you did not pay timely...
I really dislike this attitude...and I do find it too much to bear. Yesterday, when all this happened, I REALLY regretted having moved here from the very first place...So, if you wanna move in, I'm gonna be fair and say this really is a nice quiet place, at least this is my impression after one month of staying here, but DO PAY attention and don't be late, not even one day...it cost me 210$...you don't wanna pay that much for being late...
