Autumn Park is a beautiful, well maintained property situated at a great location - with Mallard creek road on one side and IBM drive on the other. Wachovia's shared service centre CIC is just across the road and thats why most people stay in this spawling 600 unit property.

But thats where all the good words dry up.

Safety and security is a big issue..Add to all the incidences listed in the other reviews , apparently two really scary incidences have happened in the last 2 weeks...A woman walking with her child was mugged at 11:30 AM and so was a gentleman working out in a Gym at 11:00 or so in the morning...There is a security patrol which does random patrolling but I guess thats not being effective..It all seems to be the handiwork of somebody who stays within the campus, otherwise how could somebody strike with such frequency..

The Police and Management's catching refrain is to walk in groups etc but honestly doesnt cut much ice..Maybe its more of a Police issue than the management issue - but the fact is that the majority population here is extremely petrified...Management has become non-chalant probably because they are not the keepers of law, the Police are and all the latter's efforts at reigning in crime in this area are apparently not paying off as well as the Residents would have liked..

Sure enough there would be crime elsewhere too, but it has really assumed dangerous proportions here . If safety for yourself, your dear ones and your property is a big criteria for you , then you are strongly advised to look at apartments slightly farther away - the other side of Mallard Creek-Harris blvd.

I am planning to move out soon albeit with a lot of regret as this, like I said, is a beautiful property with good amenities.

If the management/law enforcement is reading this, its an earnest request to please ACT NOW...
