I made the mistake of signing a two year lease at this place, and boy has it been a nightmare. Not only are the other residents messy but the apartment staff has attempted to alter the lease contract to charge for services that the lease agreement clearly states are not the responsibility of the residents. I have even gone so far as to write to the NC Attorney General?s office and the BBB twice to resolve the matter. What I?m talking about is charging for water. The lease agreement I signed when I moved in states that the Barrington Place pays for water. Half way through the lease they installed water meters and began charging for water.

Parking is also terrible. People have to park in front of the dumpters, some of the spaces are to narrow and there are just too many cars for the number of spaces unless you want to park on the other side of the complex and walk a quarter mile to your apt.

The residents are also noisy, with cars speeding through the parking lot at all hours of the night and those who are in their apts blaring music. Then theres the train. Don?t plan on getting any sleep because the train goes by about every half hour.
