I moved in here in April of 2003 with my girlfriend and we were not told anything about a freight train that runs all hours of the day and night. So after one day of living here I wanted to break my lease which I could not do so UNFORUNATLY I am now stuck here till May of 2004. The office staff here is not very personiable at all and in my eyes should all be fired and replaced with monkies who would probally do a better job. I moved down to Charlotte from NYC area and found that there are more friendly people in NYC then there are in Barrington Place. There is not a community feeling at all about this place like others that I am looking forward to move to next year when my lease is up. There are very few neighbors that are social and friendly. By the way if you do choose to move to this dump pay close attention to your automoble and you stickers cause there are alot of loop-holes in the contracts that you sign cause they seem to care so much if you OWN PERSONIAL PROPERTY is NOT REGISTERD RIGHT OR INSPECTED PROPERLY for some strange reson. They love to use the power of TOWNING CARS WITHOUT WARNING AND MAKING UP EXECUSES WHY THE DID IT THAT WAY and it will const you $135 to get your car back I know this first hand seenig that my girlfriends car was towed because she was in an UNMARKED FIRE ZONE THATS RIGHT UNMARKED and was told some story on how an ambulance could not get to a call on the devlopment on the other side of the devlopment from where she was parked some story from left-field so to say. By the way when your here feel free to park in handicaped parking cause they dont care about that at all. They care about that as much as they care about you as a resident which is NONE. Hey if you want to live in a nice apartment in the BEST DUMP IN THE UNIVERSITY AREA OF CHARLOTTE go ahead and move to Barrington Place. One finally thing the only bright spot is there maitaiance staff. To SUM THINGS UP PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND LOOK AROUND ALOT BEFORE MAKE YOU WORST MISTAKE BY CHOOSING BARRINGTON PLACE.

RENT IS TOO HIGH AND THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER WITH THE APARTMENT!!!!
