Dear Prospective Resident,
If you are looking to pay tons of money for average apartments Barrington Place is for you! I have lived here for quite some time and I am now about to move on with my life and put the dreadful past of living in Barrington Place behind me.
Statistics: For every one girl between the ages of 12 and 80 there are 3 perverts living in the complex. If you do decide to move here beware of 52 year old "Al" who aimlesly rides around on his huffy ten speed and wrangler jeans looking for chicks and clames he can't get enough of the University area. I asked him why he likes Barrington Place and he said, "Well, there is low crime, great evening races, and plenty of young college coed chicks that I can talk to. I thought I could meet more women living on Campus however, with much deliberation I think Barrington is comparable if not better to meet some fresh meat." After further questioning he said he has saught residence on the campus of UNCC even though he has no intentions of being a student which obviously raised flags but not in Barrington Place.
There is virtually no security within the premises, at least your ordinary security. On saturday nights you will find "The Bandanas" a Mexican Moped Gang hailing from Monterey, Mexico. Don't let there underpowered rattling "peds" (as they call them) intimidate you. They are just looking for a place to clame as their territory and hold moped races around the complex do to its oval shape and lack of hills. The leader of The Bandanas, Pedro "El Diablo" Gustavez told me, "Barrington place is nice but a little to expensive." I thought that was kind of strange cause "El Diablo" does not live in the complex so why the hell does he care if it is expensive'
"The Bandanas" are well respected within the premises due to their constant vigil of Barrington Place. Some speculate that "Cindy," the Manager of the grounds, struck a deal with Pedro "el diablo" Gustavez back when Barrington was first established in 1999. She figured she could cut back on expenses and just alow the moped gang to hold races and occupy a territory in the evenings. I have not heard of a single complaint about crime most likely do Cindy's economical decision of hiring a mexican moped gang instead of an accredited security guard to keep careful watch.
I have hit the main points that I feel should be disclosed to the general public about this place of residence. If you don't mind high rents, average apartments, fearless perverts, and 35 -------- on rattling mopeds holding competitive organized races in front of your residence, then you will hit a hole in one with Barrington Place.
Sincerely,
Matthew J. Bojack (1999-summer 2004)
