when i first moved here i was so excited b/c this was my first apt and it seemed great. now i hate even coming home. first off, my ac unit froze up and leaked all in my closet. when they came out to fix it there was mold and the floor was coming apart from the water. you could stick your finger in it and pull pieces out. DISGUSTING. they said there wasn't any mold and it was fine. they said the floor was concrete. ha! they still have not fixed it. second, i do not feel safe coming home late at all. they send out notes it seems every week telling you to be careful b/c some car has been broken into or someone has been robbed. then they say that they are going to get secruity out, but i NEVER see them. forget some rent-a-cop we need char. mecklenburg police out patrolling the parking lot. and speaking of the parking lot, it is completely awful. if you come home past 8 you can count on not having a spot open. it's the worst. last but not least, the train. i am right across from it. i can see it when it goes by. i can't even hear myself think and def. can't hear who i am talking to. overall this place sucks. you would be crazy to rent here after all these bad reviews. and the thing is, they are all pretty much the same!

I have lived here for years and have never had these complaints. I know the office has a company that comes through a few times a night to check things out...they talked about it at the safety meeting...did you go? If you watch the news you'll see that the university area has an increase in crime and that cmpd is actually going to have a university division. Hopefully then they'll be around a lot more. Like I said, I've been here for a few years now and absolutely love my apartment! I live near the train too and it only comes by a few times...not really a big deal.

Grow up Princess and quit being such a drama queen!!! I've lived here forever and have never had a problem like that and neither have my neighbors!! Maybe you should focus all this extra energy and time that you have on your hands and get a job, do volunteer work, start a safty crusade for Charlotte....

Oh yes, and "grow up princess quit being such a drama queen"? are you serious? Not feeling safe is not something to attack someone about. And If, you actually paid attention you would know that this place isn't safe, but I guess for some, admitting to being scared make you a drama queen. I feel sorry for you!

It's funny how you accuse this person of basically having nothing better to do than write a review yet you responded to it. You are oblivious to the crime that goes on in this community. Or maybe you are one of the thugs that's partaking in it.
