I stumbbled over this website this morning and was shocked at my apartments rating. I have lived here since the day it opened and have nothing but great things to say about it. You have to remember with apartment living that everything isn't going to be perfect all of the time, and just like a house you will have to have things fixed and if you were in a house, who are you going to call and complain to if your A/C leaks' You might get it fixed that night, you might not. I have watched the office staff change over the years but they have continued to treat me like a human and not a rent payment. They know me by name and my dog. They always have treats for tootsie and give me a great place to live where I feel safe and I have called it home for almost 8 years! Come to Barrington Place you will love it. And no, I am not old I just love it here, and as long as I pay my rent they take care of the rest

I did my research before I moved to Barrington place 6 months ago, because I lived in another University complex. Did you know that Barrington has the 3rd lowest crime in the entire University area? Probably not.

That isn't hard to believe since when you call the cops, or the "security officer" they basically blow you off. We reported to the cops that a car had it's window busted out, in the snow, and wanted a unit to come out to either cover it, or god forbid, do their jobs and file a report, and guess what happened... Not a thing! They told us that if we wanted to cover it, that's fine, but we would then be responsible for the damage! And the security... they told us it wasn't their job to handle that sort of thing! Please, Barrington Place is the worst place I've lived, one of the rudest staff's, and not well kept! But hey, at least they give off the appearance of being nice, but don't forget what they say... don't judge a book by it's cover! Don't pay attention to the grounds, because it is a total misrepresentation of the property! They apartments are falling apart, the walls are paper thing, nothing EVER gets fixed, they will lie about what "damage" there is (or isn't) when you move out (to try to illegally collect more money) and the office staff sucks! But Please, by all means, waste your money and move into Barrington, more power to you! I mean lets think about it... why would anyone waste their time to be honest and try to warn others about what goes on? Obviously the ones who come here and complain are lying... and the sad little responses are the truth. Think about it... what do I, or anyone else have to gain?
