Crime is a part of life people. You can move to Ballantyne in the best community ever and still have crime happen. I have lived in several communities in Charlotte and car break-ins are a problem in Charlotte not Timber Creek. Apartment office staff is not the police. They can't protect you anymore then the police can. We are all responsible for our own safety and shouldn't blame people who are doing all they can to control it. What do you expect the office to do, station a person outside each building every night 24/7. That would be the only way to prevent anything and even then there is no guarantee.

Start looking out for yourself and stop trying to find other people to blame for car break-ins except the theives themselves.

don't get so cocky! Crime is everywhere, but let me remind you of something, most of the crime in places like Ballantyne is from the outside,they can pick and chose who they let move in! That my friend is the offices problem. most of the apartments in Charlotte allow the criminals and lowlifes to move in!! Charlotte is a gang haven and a crime riddled city with lack of adequate police period. So don't worry your chances of being a victim of crime are high. So relax!!! They run criminal background checks on everyone. It is a pass or fail situation-they don't let you in if you fail the background check.
