I moved into Timber Creek after it was bought by Beacon. Before that I had visited my boyfriend here under the old owners Camden. Camden was much better. The manager of Beacon is one of the most disgusting people I have ever met. One night my boyfriend called to report the gate broken and the next day the manager tried to accuse my boyfriend of being the one who broke it and charge us $700 to fix it. She didn't call us during the day to inform us of this or come to our apartment. No she had member of her staff leave us a letter at 5:30 pm on a Friday. The office was closed so we had to wait until Monday to speak with her. She had all day Friday to get in contact with us and didn't. The note said to call her to discuss it. Well she didn't leave me a phone number on the letter so I looked her name up and called her at home. That stunt just proves how stupid she is. If he had broken the gate why would he have called to report it broken' After a meeting with her and a phone call to our lawyers needless to say she dropped the charges. Regional management isn't much better. The manager there refused to return my phone call for over two week until I went to main management to get a hold of her. After our lease is up we will be moving to a new apartment complex. I urge you not to move here. The gate is broken all the time and provides no protection when it works anyway. The manager just signs her name to notices and doesn't investigate their meaning. I figure one day she's going to make the mistake of accusing the wrong person of some thing and that person will sue her and Beacon and then maybe things will improve here.

I think it's important to add that the day after I posted this review the manager called us at home and complained about us leaving a bad review. This woman is obsessed with trying to get us to leave our apartment because she couldn't pin the $700 broken gate fee on us. You would think after such a bad review was written about her apartments she would try to improve things, but no she just wants unhappy residents to leave so she doesn't have to deal with complaints. I also found it interesting that the review by lalala6585 was left the day after I left mine calling people idiots that didn't know how to use the gate. In her phone call the manager even mentioned this review, maybe that's because she's the one who has a resident to write it for her. The woman is just unbelievable. She wants resident to move that don't agree with her instead of trying to come to a solution or fix the problem. I won't recommend this place to anyone.
