I have lived in the apartment community for about 13 months... And since Beacon has taken over my rent has gone from around 800.00 to around 900.00 it varies day to day... I can never get a straight answer about how much it actually costs to live there. They are all about putting some letters on doors. I get letters all the time about "owing" money! I give them money orders that total about $950.00 every month. and then still get a letter saying that I owe about $20.00 dollars here and there. The apartment we are staying in is far from "luxury" as it is described. There are roaches, I can't entertain company due to this. Its an embarassment! ------ ------ has sent us various letters about "not being able to let us pay late monthly" It would be nice to know exactly what is due as it keeps changing so frequently. I admit I have paid late a time or more because of the work I do, not because I didnt have the money and thats how they make it seem. I work outages for Duke Energy, and am constantly switching from days to night having to leave town to work, and try to get up with "management" about the rent that they say I am horribly late on. It would be nice to be able to make an appointment with them to try to discuss why rent is so steep and why it is ever changing and also why there are roaches and why I have to bomb constantly when I know that I am no nasty person. But when I call $900.00 or whatever my rent is, s far too high for a 2 br 2ba apartment infested with roaches... I could be wrong but I doubt that seriously. Our lease is up come Nov. 31st and I am so pleased about it I am tickled pink. If anyone has moved from here and knows of a nice down to earth place without the "pests" and roaches. I thought I was the only one experiencing problems with this place. So glad to know that I am not.

She has no right to tell you that you can not renew your lease because you have an opinion. That is what this forum is for. Instead of trying to use scare tactics on people they should be reading these posts and trying to improve the complex.

I will just warn you that ------ read these reviews and won't be happy you posted something on here. After I posted mine, She called us and asked us if we wanted to move and we said no we couldn't just pick up and leave in n a week like she wanted. Well ------ sent us a letter just this week saying she won't renew our lease when it's up because she doesn't want people living here that are unhappy. She doesn't have to worry we have already started looking for a new place. ------ is worthless as a manager and hopefully Beacons main managmnet will take notice.
