Berkeley is a very nice place to live. I rarely hear noise except when neighbors argue, but the walls aren't so thin. I don't notice the dog problems being a mess.. The maintence people were extremely helpful and really quick about getting the job done. They usually got to my apartment within a day or two. Parking can be pretty hellish at times, depending on where you live. The pool/hot tub area is very nice and clean. It's a mixed and diverse crowd around here which makes it nice since its not all college students. Management is also friendly and helpful, most of the time.
