After residing at complex for several months our car as well as our neighbors car were both stolen from the parking lot. there have been numerous breakins of windows and even robberies on site. As a temporary solution security was put in place but we have only seen them on two occasions. Just recently they finally decided to add gates which were already in place at neighboring complex also owned by same subsidary. Walls and ceilings are paper thin and noise levels are terrible. From stomping of feet, constant barking of dogs, parties, and cars with loud exaust all throughout days and nights. Windows and sills contain constant problems with mold and mildew no matter the scrubbing.As for Management staff the only thing they actually manage is to be completely Rude, incompetant,non caring,and inefficient. Maintenance does well in trying to keep up with repairs and overall apperance of grounds and such but struggle due to lack of proper office management however I give them the only good performance rating within the entire Berkeley staff and complex. After a two year stay my wife and I have lost all patience with the Management or lack there of. And then just when we thought things couldnt get worse they have given notice that there will be an increase in rent of aprox $150.00 per month thats complete highway robbery considering I dont know of many people geting an increase in wages to compensate for such a jump in what they consider cost of living. So in closing I would strongly suggest looking else where when considering living accomidations.

Everything you said is completely true. I have lived there 3 years, and just feel like the place is falling apart! Staff is horrible, have a work order in from last September they still haven't come by, even though I call every week. The gate is a bad idea, because half of the peple living here have not recieved a code, so lines start to build up. All in all i remember the day when I happily payed 580 for this apartment. Do you really think that I'm going to start paying 730 with what you said and everything else! Just don't move in there
