I've been here a year and have noticed the increase in breakins and robberies just in the past 2 months. Luckily I have an attached garage so I really don't have to walk outside much, but some neighbors of mine had their truck broken into right outside my apartment. Other than the notices from management about the crime I have had a good experience here (I am NOT a college student - I'm a 20-something professional who works on IBM drive). Any maintenance issues (I've only had one or two things in a year) have been handled quickly. I'm near the back of the complex and have never had a problem with noisy neighbors, loud cars, etc. I love the pool here - I will miss that. I am moving when my lease ends next month to get closer to uptown, but would probably move anyways because of the increased crime. I do think the rent is high, but I made that choice when I moved in and I feel it was worth it for the quality of the apt I got! My one-bedroom has tons of space (closets, etc) and I LOVE the attached garage model - the only thing I would change about the apartment is I wish it had more lighting from the outdoors - it doesn't have many walls with windows. Just wanted to give my perspective since it seems to differ a little from previous ones. Hope this helps someone!
