I lived here for 3 years and there were SEVERAL car break in's as well as robberies. Unfortunately, management only informed residents of a handful if that many. I had neighbors to put notes on everyone's doors to advise them of their run in's with crime in the community. When I went to management about it to ask what was going on, they got mad and said that the resident should not have done that. I got a garage, which didn't do any good because that was broken into as well. They got the gate, the hardly every worked. One morning the gate by the office didn't open at all so I had to drive to the other end of the complex just to get out to go to work. It was really loud especially during the summer months and your complaints about the noise seem to go unnoticed. I would not recommend staying here, for the money you pay....you can have a house!

How did your garage get broken in to? I don't see how someone could get in unless you accidentally left your garage open. I live at Berkeley Place too and I do know that the office sends out a notice if we have crime in our community not the neighbors. Would you rather live somewhere that cares enough to tell you about it or somewhere that doesn't?

I agree with you. I Lived at brekeley for a year and my car got broken in to. when i called the office to let them know what had happened they didnt even care to apologize or made any effort in making me feel safe at all. i never got a call back from them. the day my car got broken into, three other cars did as well. the people in front of my apartment, next to me and down stairs from me. they did put up that gate and it never worked. i had a problem with my sinck for 2 months and they didnt come look at it untill i threatened to take them to court. The washer and dryer that i rented from them didnt work and they wouldnt replace it. i would not recomend this place to anyone. the staff are no help at all either!

I live here for a year an half and I live in the front across from the rental office and me and my family have not had any problems or nmy negeihbors. so what are you talking about. what apartment bulding you live in. and another thing I do not know who complain about the pool parties you suck. and if you want live somewhere there is is no noise find somwhere else to live. And I never had a problem with maintence with any problems I have I just got a brand new microwave three weeks ago with no problem coming to look at that was broken and my garbage dispole neither I got that within the next day I went to office yall need to stop complaining all the time. maybe they do like you.
