I've lived at Berkshire Place for over 4 years and am very happy here, it feels like home not an apartment or transitional setting, which most apartments seem to be. I've read some of the reviews here and some of the things people don't like are just what others love about Berkshire Place. For instance, that the complex is 'old'. If it hadn't been built in the 80s it would be just another bare landscape with cookie-cutter square box apts. But it has the charm of a settled community with mature trees, and as an added bonus, my apartment comes with a washer and dryer, unheard of now in newer communities. Also, the office staff and maintenance have always responded well when I've asked for something, which has only been just a few times in 4 years. That should tell you how well the apts are kept up!
