If you go the sex offenders and etc. website and type in 28269 zip you can get a list of all the sex offenders they have allowed to come and stay in our community. Bexley claim they are doing background checks but I promise you they dont. They do keep the community clean, I must add maintenance is excellent but as far as the violence and crime in the area they could care less. Tenants before you move get your carpet cleaned by an outside company no the company they recommend and keep your invoice. Take pictures,have someone walk through before you leave because I have had several freinds come back and tell me that after they moved out they were hit with so many charges.Bexley will put a note on your door about access codes and pets but will not keep you informed about serious situations such as crime and burglaries. The apartments and the neighborhood is nice but management does nothing to protect their residents.The gated community doesnt mean anything if you can put bogus codes in and the gate will stay open as long as cars are approaching it. Cars are broken into, people are robbed,women are being raped, houses are burglarized and nothings is be done Everything is being concealed.
