You would think that the apartments in Ballantyne be somewhat nice right' Post Ballantyne was gorgeous and the apartments up to date.. Our furniture would not fit :( Which absolutely stunk for us. We checked out Camden Ballantyne the girls at the front desk are nice as they should be. We needed a place within 2 weeks and they had enough room for the furniture. The apartment they had in mind for us was still occupied so in order to get the low price, we had to put the security down without seeing the state the former tenants left it in. HA! DON'T EVER DO THIS! LOOK & SEE THE PLACE YOU ARE GOING TO BE LIVING IN WITH YOUR FAMILY! Learned a lesson there... Well the carpets were are joke actually still are a joke. The people before us had some kind of pet or child who was not potty trained... They had some one come over with a steamer I could rent from Harris Teeter which didn't lift any stains, just had wet carpet while moving in the furniture. The carpet does not just have pee stains all over but there are places where this child or animal tore it up and where you can lift the carpet with no issues. We also have a LARGE bug issue (earwigs, all black/red quarter sized spiders or larger, and centipedes). They have sprayed inside and the bugs have since doubled as well as outside. My daughter has bites and I actually had a earwig fall into my shirt this evening from the air vent which led me to finally write this review. Along with the lovely carpet, and bugs. The hardware is dated the cabinets were disgusting and I had to clean them out when we moved in to be able to put our dishes in. The dishwasher was tilting out of its spot and took a few times for maintenance to fix it. Our neighbors above us are loud and I've called the office many many many times I have also talked to the mother and well they "try" but when mom is not home the neighborhood kids gather there and its great! I would avoid Camden Ballantyne if I were you. Maybe try the 3rd floor if you need to be in this area maybe not a bug issue and def no noise issue.

Yes, I agree with you. There are many things that were not disclosed prior to moving in. I do not live near the courtyard, yet I still have bugs. Some of the windows are inconveniently placed near balconies of neighboring units. So, when there is a party on the balcony late at night into the early morning we are awake from the time we go to sleep until the time we have to go to work in the morning. It's crazy! We don't even get any sleep before work. This happens more than once per week.

I have no bug issue. What are you all doing to attract them? Move out, and take the bugs with you! I have been here for 4 years. I appreciate the good neighbors I have, the riftraft needs to get out! Go down the road!

The managers need to do their job and disclose information prior to people moving in. Along with taking care of their tenants issues rather then avoiding them. We are not the riftraft, the people above us and all of the obnoxious children ARE. We are people who expect quality and a safe clean home and when we address the front office with the issues we have we expect our issues to be dealt with and no longer an issue. My husband and I didn't have bugs issues at our past apartments and the accusations of us attracting the bugs is childish and rude. 4 years and no issues good for you wish we could say that we didn't have issues with Camden Ballantyne and the issues we had were dealt with the first time and properly but they weren't and we are not excited or happy with Camden Ballantyne. I have lived in other Camden Properties when I was younger and have gotten the great service Camden is known for. So good for you for living here for 4 years and having no issues. If the office could take care of issues and not make excuses it would be another story for us.
